Meet the founder of Heart and Brain Works:
Dr. Georgi Toma
I haven’t just been teaching others how to create wellbeing and balance in their lives. I have been walking the walk myself. I lived through depression, anxiety and burnout. I tried many types of therapies. I studied different approaches from positive psychology to brain-based training to neuro-linguistic programming. I learned mindfulness and meditation and I made them part of who I am.
And on this journey of healing and learning, I created a system that works. I called it: The Wellbeing Protocol. Its premise is very simple: Your life is a reflection of you. If you don’t like what you see, change it. It’s that simple. And, yes, it’s not that easy.
That is why I embedded in this mental health protocol, the most effective and easiest techniques to re-wire your brain and create joy and health in your life. And let me tell you, the transformations I’ve seen in my clients are profound. And they are backed by research results: 7%-58% reduction in stress; 13%-60% reduction in burnout and 12%-103% increase in wellbeing for those who implemented the Wellbeing Protocol techniques during the 2020 global pandemic outbreak.

What our clients are saying
"I have become more aware of being in the present and the strategies to do this. I have also learnt new strategies for coping when under stress or feeling harassed.
I have known Georgi to be very knowledgeable and approachable. She is deeply caring of people and their circumstances and their need to reconnect and be their true selves."

"I now understand how my brain creates my 'reality', how my emotions are triggered and, more importantly, why I behave in certain ways.
I realised that the way I parented was strongly influenced by my parents, which was controlling rather than understanding. I realised I need to connect with my son rather than to discipline him."
"I heard of mindfulness before but didn’t know how to put it into practice.
Working with Georgi, I learned different methods to help calm the mind and it’s allowed me to respond rather than react.
I’m a lot calmer and more comfortable in my own skin."
"I actually started getting really excited about being with myself again.
My son even said to me, "You've really changed, mum! I was really trying to wind you up and you didn't bite!"
I used to take things quite personally and be reactive and now all that has definitely dissipated."
