Upcoming Training
The Knowledge Sessions are interactive, practitioner-led working sessions held every quarter for members of the Healthy Work Community of Practice. Together we work through real-life scenarios, discuss controls, implementation challenges, and the practical realities of managing psychosocial risks, incidents and regulator visits.
Psychosocial risk management is a team effort — but HR, WHS, and Wellbeing professionals often speak different languages.
This interactive session aims to help you bridge those gaps, clarify shared objectives, and co-design integrated approaches to psychosocial risk.
This session focuses on two things. First, how to negotiate controls for your own role: making the case to your organisation, identifying where workload, scope, and decision rights can realistically be renegotiated, and what to do when the organisation you're protecting is also the source of the exposure. Second, personal agency where the system won't shift quickly — recognising your own stress response as it happens and using practical tools grounded in current research on the neurobiology of stress and recovery. We'll be explicit that this is not a substitute for work redesign.
